Part time Clerk to Bosbury and Coddington Parish Council

The parish council are a very active and committed council with a full compliment of 13 councillors.
Applications are invited for the above position with the following key responsibilities:

  • Organising meetings and taking minutes
  • Payments, receipts and Annual budget
  • Correspondence
  • Liaison and assistance to parish councillors and parishioners
  • Liaison with Herefordshire council for budgeting, grants and policy, highways and footpaths maintenance.
  • Website maintenance (full training provided)

Good Word and Excel skills are required.
The hours are approx 5-7 per week worked from home with 1 evening meeting per month.
The hours are suited to school hours and pay is competitive.

Flicks in the Sticks is held in the Parish Hall at 7.30pm. It is a very popular and sociable event with Wine and Nibbles available to buy. Entrance fee is £5.00 each for adults

Saturday Saturday January 21st

Our Farmer’s Market and Coffee Morning has been a popular fixture for over 10 years usually taking place on the 3rd Saturday of the month. It provides an ideal venue to meet up with friends and neighbours and provides a warm welcome and local information for newcomers. Entry is free, Fairtrade tea and coffee with a biscuit is £1.
