Upcoming Events

The Parish Council are considering promoting the use of SmartWater across the parishes, as a deterrant for thieves.  We would like to know if you would be interested in helping to meet the cost of this.  It would be £8.75 per household if enough people decided to join the scheme.  Please let us know your views by answering the poll below.

Would you be interested in buying SmartWater as part of a Parish Council attempt to become a SmartWater village?

Neighbourhood Watch

We are fortunate to live in a beautiful rural county where crime is relatively low compared to the larger towns/ cities. It is therefore easy to become complacent about crime in our area. Unfortunately criminals can capitalise on this, so we, as a community need to work together and with the police to help prevent ourselves and our neighbours becoming victims of crime.

Neighbourhood Watch is a good opportunity for us to work together. It’s not about being a ‘nosey neighbour’ but rather a vigilant one, letting the police and other people within the community know when you see something suspicious. Before almost every crime there is usually some suspicious activity. Therefore it is vital that we all work together to help the police to help us.

You can be as pro-active ( or not) as you like. By joining Bosbury Neighbourhood Watch you will receive information on how to receive crime alert messages on incidents that have taken place in our area plus information on scams to look out for and how to notify the police of anything you feel looks suspicious.
