Your Parish council = The closest tier of government to you.
The voice of local people.
Following a change in Government government legislation, Parish Council meetings will be held online for the foreseeable future. They will use Zoom to undertake this – the link ID for you to join in with these meetings will be listed next to the agenda.
New “unsuitable of HGV” signs will go going up at either end of Catley Lane (C1152) – this is to discourage any new drivers to the area from using the lane if they are in an over-sized vehicle. Discussions have been held with an energy supplier in the area and they have confirmed that this type of sign would not effect the delivery of services to properties on the lane.

We are fortunate to live in a beautiful rural county where crime is relatively low compared to the larger towns/ cities. It is therefore easy to become complacent about crime in our area. Unfortunately criminals can capitalise on this, so we, as a community need to work together and with the police to help prevent ourselves and our neighbours becoming victims of crime.
Neighbourhood Watch is a good opportunity for us to work together. It’s not about being a ‘nosey neighbour’ but rather a vigilant one, letting the police and other people within the community know when you see something suspicious. Before almost every crime there is usually some suspicious activity. Therefore it is vital that we all work together to help the police to help us.
You can be as pro-active ( or not) as you like. By joining Bosbury Neighbourhood Watch you will receive information on how to receive crime alert messages on incidents that have taken place in our area plus information on scams to look out for and how to notify the police of anything you feel looks suspicious.
