Whilst crime in rural Herefordshire is decreasing following a recent police imitative, people should remain vigilant. Currently the high price of scrap metal is resulting in an increase in thefts and suspicious incidents. All scrap metal dealers should be licensed. Unfortunately, non licensed dealers as well as licensed dealers operate locally.
If you see anything suspicious of any nature ring the 101 number or ring you local Neighbourhood watch co-coordinator on 01531 640093
